Actian Data Platform: Connectivity v2.0 (self-paced)
To harness the capabilities of an Actian Data Platform Warehouse and thoroughly explore the data it holds, business users must be able to connect to it through their familiar analytical applications. This course equips you with comprehensive knowledge on establishing connectivity for business users. This includes tasks such as managing a trusted list of IPs, creating user accounts, and configuring connection string parameters.
Course Outcome:
You will have gained insight into the essential steps for integrating your preferred third-party applications with an Actian Data Platform Warehouse. While most third-party applications commonly use JDBC or ODBC for connection, the Actian Data Platform command line software is connected via our native data connection software. Security measures are implemented either through a Platform Warehouse username and password or via Single Sign-On (SSO) for Platform Warehouses provisioned on the Google Cloud Platform.
