About this course

Course Outcome:
There are times when a use case arises which requires data to be moved in and out of your corporate databases.  Being able to easily move data out to operating system based flat files is a win for DBA's and the External Table feature allows for this scenario.  However, perhaps the more powerful External Table feature is the ability to access data which resides in flats files on the operating system as through those files were tables in the OneDB Database.  The migration and accessibility of data just got a lot easier with the External Table feature.  During this video we demonstrate how to implement the External Table feature in your OneDB database environment.
Course Style:
The training is provided in a step by step style providing you with best practice advice and guidance.
Audience:
For System or Database Administrators who have responsibility for maintaining the Corporate OneDB database estate.
